Overground Staff Participates in Operation Christmas Child

CHARLOTTE, December 16, 2104 Overground, a demand generation and sales enablement agency, took part in Operation Christmas Child, a Samaritan’s Purse program that packs and delivers Christmas gifts to overseas children that do not have the opportunity to enjoy the Christmas season. Their 2014 goal was to greet 10 million children with a Christmas shoe box. Stationed at the Charlotte-based processing center, Overground staff members volunteered for an afternoon preparing shoe boxes with gifts for hundreds of boys and girls.

“Our team is committed to making a difference in the community and around the world, and this is one way we decided to serve as an organization at the end of last year,” remarks Eric Dudley, CEO and Founder of Overground.

Being involved in the community and taking part in charity functions speaks to Overground’s commitment to serving in the Charlotte area. Volunteerism is an important part of the Overground culture, as it brings its employees and fellow Charlotteans together while working to make a positive impact on the world.
